PALUX Privacy Policy
PALUX is a workforce, fleet, safety, communications, and business-operations platform provided by PR Tech Digital (“PR Tech Digital,” “PALUX,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). This Privacy Policy explains how PALUX accesses, collects, uses, stores, shares, retains, and deletes information when companies and their authorized users use the PALUX website or mobile application.
1. Information we may collect
Depending on the features enabled by a company and the permissions granted by a user, PALUX may process:
- Account and identity information: name, email address, phone number, password credentials handled through authentication services, employee identifier, company, job role, profile photo, and account status.
- Workforce and operational information: schedules, time-clock entries, breaks, routes, attendance, assignments, training records, acknowledgements, coaching records, scorecards, reports, hiring information, and other company records.
- Fleet and safety information: vehicle assignments, inspection results, vehicle photos, incident reports, emergency type, route or vehicle details, and safety follow-up records.
- Location information: precise or approximate location when a user activates an emergency or safety feature, permits location access, or uses another feature that requires location. Emergency tracking may continue for the limited period shown in PALUX or until the incident is resolved or tracking is stopped.
- Communications and user content: direct messages, channel messages, voice messages, documents, photos, forms, signatures, notes, and files uploaded by users.
- Payroll and billing information: payroll records or payment-related information entered by an authorized company, and company subscription or billing information. Payment-card processing may be handled directly by a payment processor rather than stored by PALUX.
- Device, usage, and security information: device and browser type, app version, IP address, authentication events, diagnostic information, feature activity, security logs, cookies, local storage, and similar technical information.
2. How we use information
- Authenticate users and provide role-based access.
- Operate workforce, scheduling, timekeeping, fleet, safety, communications, document, reporting, training, and administrative features.
- Deliver emergency alerts and location-enabled safety functions requested by users.
- Maintain company data isolation, security, fraud prevention, backups, troubleshooting, and customer support.
- Process company subscriptions and provide service-related communications.
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce agreements and acceptable-use requirements.
3. How information may be shared
We may share or make information available:
- Within the user’s company workspace to authorized owners, managers, dispatchers, HR personnel, fleet or safety personnel, associates, or other roles according to the company’s permissions.
- With service providers that support hosting, authentication, databases, storage, cloud functions, notifications, analytics, payment processing, communications, and technical support.
- With connected services when a company administrator chooses to connect an external email, calendar, payment, or other integration.
- For legal and safety reasons when required by law, legal process, or a good-faith need to protect users, the public, PR Tech Digital, or others.
- In a business transaction such as a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to applicable law.
PALUX does not sell personal information and does not use personal information for third-party targeted advertising.
4. Service providers and international processing
PALUX uses cloud and infrastructure providers, including Google Firebase services for functions such as authentication, hosting, databases, storage, and backend processing. Company billing may use Stripe or another payment processor. Information may be processed in countries where these providers operate, subject to contractual and legal safeguards.
5. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information, including authenticated access, role-based permissions, encrypted network connections, company-level data separation, access controls, and monitoring. No system can guarantee absolute security.
6. Retention
We retain information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide PALUX, maintain security and backups, comply with legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and support the company workspace. Retention may also be directed by the company that controls the workspace. Information may remain in protected backups for a limited period before deletion through normal backup rotation.
7. Account and data deletion
Users may request deletion of their PALUX account and associated personal information by visiting the PALUX Account Deletion page or by emailing pedro@prtechdigital.com with the subject “PALUX Account Deletion Request.” Company-managed users may also contact their company administrator.
We may need to verify the requester’s identity and authority. We will delete or de-identify information associated with the account unless retention is required for security, legal compliance, financial records, active disputes, or another lawful purpose. Deleting an account does not automatically delete records that a customer company is legally permitted or required to retain as the controller of its workforce records.
8. User choices and permissions
Users can control device permissions such as location, camera, microphone, photos, and notifications through device settings. Disabling a permission may prevent the related PALUX feature from working. Company administrators control role permissions and access within their workspace.
9. Children
PALUX is a business and workforce platform and is not directed to children. PALUX is not intended for use by anyone under the minimum age required to work or create an account in their jurisdiction.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as PALUX changes or legal requirements evolve. We will update the effective date and provide additional notice when required.
